WE ARE

WE ARE ALL
CALLED • CONNECTED • CRUCIAL
TO GOD'S MISSION ON EARTH

WE ARE CALLED

Jesus' invitation to the Kingdom of God is free, but it comes with a cost. He has asked us to take up our own cross and so we must decide whether we wish to live a life of powerful calling or to choose the things of this world. This calling isn't always full-time ministry, instead, it is simply saying "yes" to what He asks of us. If you saw Jesus in-person and He asked you to "follow me," would you leave your normal life behind?

WE ARE CONNECTED

No matter where we were born or what we look like, our true identity comes from the Prince of Peace. This identity connects us to others and it connects us to the One who saves, heals, provides, and brings our souls true rest. Our royal connection to Jesus allows us to walk boldly before man, demons, and the very Throne of God. When you accepted Christ as your Lord, you gained a new identity and a new purpose that breaks chains.

WE ARE CRUCIAL

We serve a calling greater than ourselves—to proclaim a Gospel that sets captives free. In a world full of lies, the light within us is something that should never be hidden. The power of Christ restores generations from brokenness, frees slaves from bondage, heals the wounded, shifts the unmoveable, and loves the unloveable. Billions of people cry out for the very hope that we hold and we are the few who will share it.

WE ARE DISCIPLES OF JESUS

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

SMA President

Reagan Thomas

My name is Reagan Thomas and I have the honor of serving as the SMA President. I believe the Lord desires to see each student on our campus put their trust in him above any doubts or fears they have. I hope to see students taking steps in faith towards the things God has called them to, not being bound by fear but walking in radical obedience and confidence that they are called, connected, and crucial to God's mission.

SMA Secretary

Josh Smith

My name is Josh, and it’s a privilege to serve as the SMA Secretary. I work alongside the executive team and support the President in stewarding what God is doing through SMA. As a Church Leadership student, I desire to reflect the heart of Jesus in all I do. My prayer is to create a space where students encounter God’s presence, find true rest in Him, and remember that our true identity is not in what we do, but in who we are as beloved sons and daughters of the Father

SMA Treasurer

Morgan Rushing

As the treasurer, I help oversee SMA's finances and facilitate the fundraising efforts for our annual giving project. My role is not just about managing resources well, but encouraging a spirit of generosity among students. Driven by the belief that giving is an act of obedience, I am passionate about inspiring students to give faithfully - even in seasons of sacrifice. We envision a student body marked by radical generosity and making an impact both on campus and around the world. â€‹

SMA Director of World Outreach

Samantha Wegman

My heartbeat and the mission of World Outreach is to equip students to become passionate disciples of Christ who actively disciple others and live on mission now, not later. We do this through hands-on training, studying the life and ministry of Jesus, and practicing missional living. Every year, we go to the nations stepping out in faith through mission trips that give students the chance to live out what they're learning and see God move in powerful ways.
